PrintCity Project Ambassadors Achievement 2010
Carbon & Energy Reduction Project – This new environmental report from the PrintCity Alliance, titled Carbon & Energy Reduction for the Graphics Industry Value Chain, will be published in early 2011, following two years of 'connection of competence' knowledge sharing between members and partners, plus industry organisations including CEPI, Intergraf and WAN-Ifra. PrintCity Alliance members Faist, Kurz, m-real, manroland, MKW, Sappi, Sun Chemical, Trelleborg and UPM, plus project partners including Kodak and Muller Martini have been involved.
Josef Aumiller commented on his PrintCity Ambassador of the Year Award, "I was not expecting such an award, but to be nominated by my colleagues from other alliance members and then to be chosen by the judges is indeed an honour. PrintCity was formed from the desire to share knowledge across member companies – the 'connection of competence'. After 12 years of activity, PrintCity members continue to show this focus and the project publications & events delivered by them working together are unique in our industry. I am proud to be associated with such achievements by so many companies."
