Another win for Trekk Cross-Media Project

Press release from the issuing company

Rockford, IL - A cross-media marketing program Trekk developed for NewPage Corp. recently won a 2010 Gold Marcom Award. It marks the second recognition for the ongoing "Paper Sells More Product" campaign.

The international awards competition recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Trekk's entry was chosen from almost 5,000 entries throughout North America and the world.

The NewPage Paper Sells More Product program uses industry studies and lifestyle imagery to demonstrate the selling power of print. Throughout trade publication ads, web banners, emails, postcards, lumpy mailers and a Facebook page messaging reaffirms that in a multi-channel world, print increases sales across all channels - print, mail, in store, and online.

Trekk developed personalized print and digital communications and personalized URLs to provide a relevant, one-to-one experience for each recipient. Targeted print and banner ads offer a compelling call to action that sends potential customers to a promotional microsite at www.NewPageGiveaway.com. There, Catalogers, Retailers and Magazine Publishers can enter to win $100,000 in print services. Not only does the ongoing program support the printing and publishing industries, but also gives the winner an opportunity to increase their reach with print communications.

The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals. The Association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards for excellence.
