Mechanicsburg, PA - CMIPrintGraphix, Inc. and CMI ActionFast Print, Inc. Announced a new Digital Publication Service that offers customers the ability to publish documents created and printed by CMI and use the new service to publish these documents on the internet.

CMI provides all of the technology, hosts the customer's website and provides all the services to go from document/magazine/catalog creation, the printed document, and then posting the PDF creation on the website. The CMI  website allows the users to turn pages in magazine format, download the document either for free or if the publisher chooses they can charge for the product, creating an additional revenue source as well as expanding the product distribution.

CMI's production center and branch office PDF workflow network allows its offices in Staten Island, NY and now Edison, NJ, to have direct access to the main production facility in Mechanicsburg, PA and provides a network of linked capabilities to its expanded digital print capabilities.

CMI also provides thermographic (raised letter) printing to compliment its expanded digital center, offset, direct mail and variable data capabilities. The acquisition of the Edison Facility adds an array of digital capabilities that includes the New Cannon Image Press 7000 four color press along with a  new Canon  four color ImagePress 6000 and a Canon 1110 (B/W), along with a, Cannon CLC 4000 (color), and a B/W Konica 1050. This powerful array of systems compliments the Digital Center in Mechanicsburg, which includes two Canon Image Press 6000's, a Canon 1110 and three Konica color 6500's and two B/W 1050's.  CMI plans on adding additional Konica Minolta's to the New Jersey Facility in the next few months.
