Press release from the issuing company
Torraspapel’s FSC-certified CreatorNatural Matt paper was chosen for printing the new official Alhambra guidebook.
The new official guidebook of the Alhambra, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Spain, includes a historic assessment of the Moorish palace and the surrounding landscape, as well as an account of important historical figures associated with the monument.
The 354-page publication, co-edited by the Patronato de la Alhambra (Alahambra Board) and the Spanish publishing house TF editores, includes a wealth of visual material – with more than 300 photographs – and a new series of blueprints prepared especially for the occasion. It is also the first official guide with a QR (Quick Response) code that will allow users to access the Patronato de la Alhambra web page (www.alhambra-patronato.es) from their mobile phones and receive up-to-date news regarding the site firsthand.
Published in Spanish, English, French, German and Italian, the new guidebook has been printed in 5 colors on Torraspapel’s CreatorNatural Matt coated paper, manufactured under the strictest environmental standards, with ISO 14001 and EMAS environmental management certifications, as well as FSC Chain-of-Custody Certification, thereby guaranteeing the responsible origin of the wood used as raw material.
Torraspapel , part of the Lecta Group, is committed to being the paper of choice for prestigious print editions related to the world of art and culture.
