Washington, D.C. – Printing industry leaders will gather at National Harbor in Maryland to explore the future of print in an increasingly digital world at a print industry executive management summit launching October 14th.
Sponsored by the Printing & Graphics Association MidAtlantic (PGAMA) and Printing Industries of Virginia (PIVA), the “Executive Management Summit” connects printers to thought leaders from across the industry spectrum. Speakers include Bill Gibson, Chairman of the Board of Printing Industries of America and President of Trico, Chicago; industry trend-watcher and author Richard Romano; award-winning graphic designer Daniel Dejan of Sappi Papers; and Julie Shaffer, Vice President Digital Technologies at Printing Industries of America.
As the graphic communications industry accelerates to serve the new digital consumer, printing company owners are reinventing and renewing their strategies to help marketers reach customers in the most direct and cost-effective fashion. “Print is the renewable way a responsible world communicates,” says Kerry Stackpole, CAE, the President of PGAMA. “It is a highly effective medium that helps consumers navigate our increasingly complex world, and the Summit will give printing executives and sales professionals the information they need to help convey to their clients that print is an environmentally friendly way to share ideas and communicate their message."
