Press release from the issuing company
Schaumburg, IL – To support the knowledge base of its products which includes the EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions line, INX International Ink Co. and INX Digital International (booth #2512) will offer a series of educational seminars for commercial and package printers at Graph Expo. Three sessions will be presented the first three days of the Chicago show that begins this Sunday and runs through October 6 at McCormick Place.
The INX seminar schedule for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday begins at 11 a.m., with experts and company engineers discussing "Advanced Ink Systems: Traditional vs. Inkjet". At 1:30 p.m., the focus will be on "Device Calibration including G7 Methodology", followed by a 3 p.m. session exploring the attributes of EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions. Graph Expo attendees can register in advance for any seminar by visiting www.inxinternational.com/ge10.
"If you are a printer who is not involved in digital printing and looking to learn more about converting from traditional printing to digital, this is an event you want to put on your schedule," said Steve Nigro, National Technical Manager – Digital, for INX International Ink Co. "Traditional and digital printing are two very different worlds, but the process for digital is relatively easy compared to general printing. These seminars are designed to educate and inform in 15 minute presentations and will include off-line demonstrations. Our intention is for anyone attending to leave with a better understanding of how digital will help their operation."
Keen insight will be offered in each presentation. For example, the Device Calibration session will discuss the benefits of grayscale calibration - including GRACoL G7 methodology - as it pertains to traditional and digital printing. Covering ISO and print specifications, speakers will examine the differences between spectrophotometry and densitometry and how to best utilize LAB readings for better process control. It's also the perfect venue to learn about LED curing technology, inks systems and Xaar print heads for integration.
The educational seminars at Graph Expo are timely. Booth visitors will be able to see the new CP100 UV digital can printer - which headlines the EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions brand line – and the new MD1000 UV flatbed printer.
Both printers are key parts of integrated systems technology platforms developed by INX Digital to provide customer-driven, seamless solutions for inkjet printing, production workflows and material handling. The CP100 is designed for short-run cylindrical printing and packaging work and cost effectively produces brilliantly printed items such as aluminum cans and water bottles in minutes. The MD1000 quickly and inexpensively delivers real-metal sample proofs in minutes for the short-run production of decorative tins, general line containers and aerosols.
