NUR Announces First Installation of New Wide Format Printers in U.S.

Press release from the issuing company

LOD, Israel, Sept. 22 -- NUR Macroprinters, a leading supplier of wide-format inkjet production printing systems for the out-of-home advertising market, announced today that XL Image, a wide-format printing company based in Miami, FL, has become the first company in the United States to install two new NUR Ultima HiQ 5000 wide- format inkjet production printers. XL Image was founded earlier this year by two billboard industry veterans to provide high volume, fast turnaround production of billboards for major media companies in both North and South America while also producing high quality indoor point-of-purchase displays for large retail chains. Recognizing that these two applications had different production requirements, they needed a wide-format printing solution that would provide a maximum level of versatility in terms of output format, speed and quality. "Only one printer passed muster for both the billboard market and our POP requirements," said Guillermo Torres, CEO of XL Image. "NUR Macroprinters' new Ultima HiQ 5000 production printer would give us the wide output format, speed, and roll-to-sheet workflow we need for fast turnaround billboard production as well as the 8-color photo-realistic quality to print the most quality-oriented POP displays. The ease with which we can switch from 8-color to 4-color printing mode is just what we need to serve our business model." David Amir, NUR's Chief Executive Officer said, "When we rolled out the NUR Ultima HiQ 5000 production printers, we knew that it would meet the needs of printing companies actively seeking to grow their businesses significantly. We're proud to have been selected by XL Image, and look forward to additional sales in the US."
