Boston, Massachusetts and Appenzell, Switzerland - GMC Software Technology has made two important new appointments within its senior management team. Hansruedi Jörg has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Worldwide Business Development and Peter Müller takes on the role of President of European Operations.

Hansruedi Jörg has a strong background in the industry, with extensive IT, sales and business management experience and has been part of the GMC operation for nine years. His promotion comes after successfully managing all sales, and support operations in Europe, the Middle East, India and Mexico. In his new role Jörg will draw on his experience to develop a worldwide partner network, delivering customer communication management solutions.

Peter Müller, will now be directing all sales, marketing, service and support operations for EMEA, the Indian Peninsula and Mexico. His immediate priority will be to continue developing operations, which has been expanding rapidly over the last two years. Before joining the company, he spent 12 years at Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company.
