Press release from the issuing company
Ripon Printers, a leading printer of catalogs, publications, manuals and soft-cover educational products, received a Silver award in the Digital Printing, Marketing Collateral category of the Gold Ink Awards, one of the industry's most prestigious print competitions. Now in its 23rd year, the Gold Ink Awards competition has earned the respect of the industry's most important producers of printed work.
Ripon won for its "Great Tips!" series of tips booklets. Illustrated in full color and packaged in a box set, the booklets cover Premedia, Bindery, Printing, Inkjet & Mailing, Comail and Marketing Do's & Don'ts.
"The award reflects the quality of digital printing that our skilled on-demand team is producing from our two Canon imagePRESS C6000 full-color digital presses," says Andy Lyke, president of Ripon Printers. "I'm also pleased that our marketing program continues to receive ongoing recognition. We want to be a company that not only produces our clients' materials, but also understands and uses marketing effectively ourselves."
Planned by Printing Impressions, Publishing Executive and Book Business magazines and sponsored by Heidelberg and NewPage, the award presentation will take place at the Gold Ink Awards and Hall of Fame Gala on October 4 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. The gala is held in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO 2010.
