Lots of visitors and an excellent atmosphere: manroland is very satisfied with its results at Expoprint Latin America. manroland's groundbreaking presentation at this show in Latin America led to many sales.
"In its first year of existence, the Sales and Service Organization of manroland latina in Brazil and other Latin American countries has worked with passion and inspiration. Also the customers here in São Paulo have been very impressed by this élan, motivation and competence", as Stefan Deuster, Managing Director of manroland latina North, is pleased to report. The Value Added Printing concept was a real crowd-puller and greatly impressed the customers in the South and Central American markets. The decision to exhibit a ROLAND 500 with coating module and ROLAND InlineFoiler Prindor was dead right – it was unquestionably the highlight of Expoprint and kept the manroland stand full.

Sales success continues, PRINTVALUE services in great demand
The six-color ROLAND 500 exhibited at the show was sold to Premier Spell Grafica Fotolito in São Paulo. Following successful installations in Mexico, this means a Brazilian premiere for the ROLAND InlineFoiler Prindor. In the sheetfed sector, numerous projects were progressed and more than 100 printing units were sold to customers in Brazil alone. In the webfed sector, the South American success story of the EUROMAN continued with a sale to Gráfica Santa Marta. This Brazilian printing company ordered its first commercial web press with a 48-page configuration. "We are very satisfied with our results from the show and also the Expoprint attendance levels. Besides the Value Added Printing presentation and the fascination shown for cold foil enhancement, the visitors were very interested in our full range of PRINTVALUE services", reports Franz von Fürstenberg.
Solutions for production security with certified printcom consumables plus upgrade and maintenance possibilities from the printservices portfolio were in great demand. This includes manroland's futureproof concept, which enables many upgrades to be retrofitted to presses in the field. ProServ contracts were concluded which indicates how well manroland customers respond to proactive maintenance concepts. Expoprint Latin America made it plain how great the need for information on the part of printing companies is and shows the importance of manroland's process expertise.
