Fairfax, Virginia - SGIA released its 2010 Financial Outlook and Business Growth Plans Report, which reveals the hottest market trends and profitable business strategies for the graphic, garment and industrial imaging communities.

According to the US report, graphic imager respondents indicate that 62.5 percent purchased some sort of digital printing equipment in 2009 and 73.6 percent plan to purchase digital equipment in 2010. The most influential criteria for choosing equipment are durability (55.8 percent) and quality (53.6 percent).
The survey also revealed that US garment decorator respondents plan to grow their business by expanding existing markets (67.5 percent), followed by developing new markets (52.8 percent) and adding production capacity (43.4 percent).
