As part of ongoing efforts to support sustainability practices within the paper & printing industry, Mohawk will continue patronage of the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership for a second year at the Gold level.

Mohawk is currently the only text and cover mill to support Sustainable Green Printing (SGP), a printer certification whose mission is to "encourage and promote participation in the worldwide movement to reduce environmental impact and increase social responsibility of the print and graphic communications industry through sustainable green printing practices."

Mohawk joins environmentally conscious companies such as HP, New Page, DuPont, and Xpedx in a rapidly growing sustainable printing certification program with 22 printers certified to date and 30 more already in the auditing process for 2010. This certification is available for both US and Canadian printers.
