Press release from the issuing company

The Thousand Oaks chapter Direct Marketing Association (DMA) of Southern California will host a breakfast presentation on Tuesday June 15th. The presentation is titled "Creating Order Out of Chaos: Staying Afloat in a World of Too Much To Do" and will feature speaker David Allen, one of the best known productivity experts working today.

Breakfast program
Focus is the big challenge - creating and directing it amidst an increasingly distracting world. It's one thing to know we need to focus, but it's quite another to actually do what's needed to make that easier. David shares key concepts of the focusing game - what kinds of things work against us being able to focus appropriately, and how to eliminate them. He then describes the six levels of focus required to stay on top of the game of life and work, and how to ensure we can access them when needed. He shares the wisdom and experience gleaned from years of coaching and consulting with high-performing professionals, and gives practical tools for incorporating those techniques immediately "back at the ranch.
