Fujifilm to rate proofing submissions for IPA/IDEAlliance conference

The Graphic Systems Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is usingits Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified to measure all proofs during the IPA/ Technical Conference, which is being held in Chicago on June 7-8, and is accepting proofing submissions from those unable to attend as well.

"We see this as an opportunity to collaborate with the IPA/IDEAlliance in order to get a snapshot of the status of proofing within the industry.

Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified is a unique solution designed to provide critical, up-to-date information on the entire color production process. The patented solution monitors hardware and output from the prepress stage to the pressroom and offers a method for monitoring, controlling and maintaining consistent quality.

During the IPA/IDEAlliance Technical Conference, Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified will be will be used to measure proofs and give feedback on whether the proofs pass SWOP or GRACoL standards. It will also be used to let the attendees see how their proofs stack up against others.

Participants, both at the show and those not in attendance, will be given an ID number for the proof as well as login information for the Taskero Universe ColorPath Verified website, which will allow them to view their proof as well as others in the industry to see how they compare and to view reports summarizing results for all of the proofs. All submissions are anonymous.
