Schaumburg, IL – INX International Ink Co. found consensus with its audience at this year's Cannex de las Americas, held April 27-29 in Las Vegas.  Booth visitors indicated they are ready to evolve; in this case it's with INX's EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions, which gives printers the essential products to successfully transition to new niche markets and includes digital printing.

The CP100 can printer is one of two innovative printers INX debuted at PRINT '09 last September.  The MD660 UV flatbed printer was also introduced in Chicago, and both metal decorating devices made highly favorable impressions on show visitors in Las Vegas.  A sales order was placed at Cannex for one of the CP100 printers.

"There was great interest in the digital platforms we had at Cannex," said Jonathan Ellaby, Vice President of International Operations for INX International.  "Companies from Asia and Europe, as well as the Americas, are interested in evolving.  Our staff did a great job of answering every inquiry we received all three days."

The CP100 is designed for the short run production of cylindrical printing, creating specialized packaging opportunities for any printer.  It offers an option of single or multi-pass through-cured 4-color output with an advanced UV LED curing system.  The high speed technology makes it ideal for 2-piece cans, and delivers exceptionally consistent, eye-catching color using proven and patented Xaar print heads.

Both printers use INX Digital EVOLVE brand UV inks.  The MD660 UV flatbed printer is a highly cost effective solution that produces real metal sample proofs quickly for the short run production of metal substrates. The MD660 also achieves extremely high resolution over 1000 dpi using proven and reliable print head technology. 

INX also enjoyed a highly favorable response to its complete line of ink and coating solutions, including the new low temperature TP LE Cure conventional ink system for 3-piece metal decorating applications. The most environmentally friendly conventional 3-piece ink ever developed by INX, it cures at 120-degrees Celsius and creates savings on energy costs.  Four-color process is now available and Opaque White will be introduced soon.
