Fuerth, Germany -  Luxor/Alufin MP is the name of the newest development from the company Kurz. This stamping foil can be characterized as a universal troubleshooter and, according to Kurz, has ushered in a new era in hot stamping.

Up until now, it was generally necessary to ensure that the stamping foil used is precisely tailored to the substrate, ink and lacquer system, stamped motif, stamping die and stamping machine. Luxor/Alufin MP provides the processor with a great deal more flexibility. The stamping foil is suitable for virtually all surfaces in the graphics industry, even for very difficult to stamp surfaces such as UV lacquers and inks. Luxor/Alufin MP adheres very well to a large variety of surfaces, in particular also to many acqueous lacquer systems and laminates. The stamping foil can be processed at very high speeds, is ideally suited for large-area designs and embossed stampings, and can be overprinted without difficulty. Furthermore, the foil is easy to process on all commercially available stamping machine systems. The foil can be used in large variety of applications and delivers a high stamping quality in all cases: it achieves a very good gloss level, temperature-resistance, abrasion and scratch resistance, a high edge definition, and high coverage even on rough surfaces.
