Collabria Names New CEO - Don Armagnac

SAN MATEO, CA --- Collabria, Inc., the most widely used print e-commerce business solution, today announced that Donald Armagnac has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of the corporation. Armagnac brings strategic management expertise from both large and small companies involved in supply chain e-business. Alan Hu, who co-founded the company and has served as Collabria's President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board since the company's incorporation in 1997, retains his position as Chairman and will continue to play a role in business strategy and development. "Collabria has a proven product, a solid foundation, and an experienced team," stated Armagnac. "It is poised for growth, ready to take the next step. Bringing in a new CEO at this stage is the natural evolution for any start-up that wants to grow. Collabria has been the industry leader since its inception, and I look forward to working with Alan and others on the team in shaping Collabria's development and strengthening its leadership position." Armagnac comes to Collabria from QAD, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Global Field Management. Located in Carpenteria, CA, QAD is a leading provider of e-business and enterprise supply-chain solutions for manufacturing and distribution companies. Armagnac launched the new services division at QAD and was instrumental in closing several new enterprise opportunities in Europe and the United States, including major alliances with IBM, Sun, Cisco, D&T and TRW. Prior to his position at QAD, Armagnac drove international sales and marketing programs for Digital Equipment Corporation where, as International Vice President, he was responsible for a project portfolio that generated in excess of $400 million. Through the development of alliances with major systems integration and key application partners, Armagnac was instrumental in the design and launch of business strategies that focused on penetrating multiple vertical markets with supply chain solutions. Armagnac received a BA from St. Francis College and an MA from Wesleyan University.
