Toronto – Avanti Computer Systems Limited, a leading provider of Print MIS and Web-to-Print solutions, today announced that Garrity Print Solutions, a high-quality Louisiana-based commercial print and mailing provider, has chosen Avanti's Print MIS system to automate business processes and increase print shop efficiency.

Garrity Print Solutions operates from a 40,000 sq ft. facility located in Harahan Louisiana (in the Greater New Orleans area) providing full color printing, binding and direct mailing services to large ad agencies, PR firms and regionally based customers for over 25 years. Garrity has chosen to implement Avanti's Print MIS software to replace its current system, which no longer provides the functionality required to support the printer's growing business needs. Implementing Avanti's MIS software is the first step in automating workflows and streamlining business processes.

Phase One, which will be launched in April, implements Avanti's Print MIS and integrates it with Garrity's existing accounting system Peachtree. Avanti will provide Garrity with one system of record for the entire organization across all of its line of businesses. Phase Two, scheduled for this fall, includes Web-to-Print and JDF integration. Avanti's eAccess will integrate with Garrity's HP Indigo 5000 Digital Offset press. In addition, Garrity's Prepress workflow, built on Kodak Prinergy and Kodak Insite Prepress Portal, will also connect to Avanti's Print MIS, providing end-to-end functionality.
