JenMar Successfully Running Equipment to Be Featured at Graph Expo
Press release from the issuing company
TOTOWA, N.J.--Aug. 13, 2003-- JenMar Graphics, a leading printing and pre-press company within the New York, and New Jersey area for over 25 years and, currently Boston, has taken another step in the world of filmless workflow by acquiring a piece of equipment that will be showcased in September's Graph Expo in Chicago.
Purchased in June, the Fuji's Saber Luxel Vx-9600 eight-page platesetter, has been nothing short of a solid high quality addition to JenMar's already high tech and industry leading company.
The violet computer-to-plate platesetter is currently the fastest in its class. It is its speed as well as output quality that John Petillo, JenMar's Director of Technology said is what is most attractive about the equipment. "There is more quality control and there is not a generation loss going from film to plate," said Petillo.
JenMar's filmless workflow also includes Heidelberg Digital Imaging Press, which the company purchased in 2000. The press greatly enhanced the company's digital printing capabilities.
It is not only the capabilities of the platesetter that attracted JenMar toward the purchase, but also its manufacturer's name. For over 5 years, JenMar has had a solid relationship with Fuji. It is the advances that Fuji makes in the industry that Steve Nebesni, Vice President of JenMar says is crucial to JenMar.
"We feel that Fuji is the only manufacturer of Graphic Arts equipment that is constantly continuing to be on the edge of technology," Nebesni said. "We at JenMar share that desire to be as new as possible."
