xpedx is hosting a free, two-hour seminar in Portland, Oregon, this Thursday for in-plant printers who want to improve their operations, more effectively demonstrate their value to superiors-and win new business.

The seminar will be held Thursday, March 11, from 11 am to 1 p.m. at xpedx Portland, 9111 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland, 503-255-2121.  Lunch is included.

Veteran in-plant business and operations expert Jerry Sampson of xpedx will host the "Learn @ Lunch" seminar.  He will talk about ways in-plant managers can handle mandates to cut costs, expand productivity and boost output.  He will also talk about ways to increase sales and make operations more efficient.

"In addition, we will help in-plant managers communicate the real savings their print services are providing to their company or organization," Sampson said.

For many years Sampson has helped in-plants across the U.S. become more productive, generate new business and become more cost-efficient.

More xpedx in-plant seminars are expected in other U.S. metros through 2010.
