PrintingForLess.com wins four NAPL awards

Press release from the issuing company

Livingston, MT – PrintingForLess.com, announced today that they won four, Marketing Plus Awards from the National Association of Printing Leadership.

"Marketing Plus recognizes those companies that have demonstrated their ability to realize the full potential of marketing in all its forms as a key driver of their clients' success and their own growth," said NAPL President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale in the NAPL's press release announcing the winners. "NAPL is proud to honor their achievement."

The NAPL's Second Annual 2010 Marketing Plus Awards program honored PFL with the following awards:

1. Gold Award in the Sales/Lead Generation Category for their "Print '09 Bigfoot Campaign"

For the PRINT '09 Trade Show in September 2009, PFL created a "Bigfoot - The Legend Exists" marketing campaign to increase booth attendance. This included postcards, a press release, e-mails, a Web site at www.thelegendexists.com, Twitter announcements during the show, and an actor costumed as Bigfoot to attract attendees to the booth.

2. Gold Award in the Direct Mail Marketing Category for their "Wholesale Pricing" Direct Mail Campaign

To promote their new Print Reseller Program, PFL created a custom postcard featuring a die-cut donut with a clear foil accent. The card was printed on matte stock and the die-cut donut hole served as the "o" in "wholesale pricing." "We wanted to get the attention of a target audience of creative types, and this campaign helped us reach our goal of bringing in new leads and customers," says Jared Tanner, PFL Marketing Vice President.

3. Silver Award in the Direct Mail Marketing Category for their "First Aid Kit" Direct Mail Campaign

PFL created a mailing campaign designed to "fix the recipient's printing pain." This included a die-cut direct mailer custom-folded to look like a first-aid kit, as well as a business reply card that offered a free, first-aid kit for any franchisee who participated in PFL's Web-to-print demo. Preset goals for leads, demos and new customers were achieved and exceeded

4. Merit Award in the Direct Mail Marketing Category for their "Customer Quotes" Direct Mail Campaign.

By featuring customer testimonials in a series of postcards, with a different custom finish on each piece to highlight their custom capabilities and help the piece stand out in the mailbox, PFL beat their forecast for new customer conversions.

NAPL selects Marketing Plus Award winners on an objective, point-scoring measurement that "takes into account both the individual end product or campaign and its success in meeting stated goals." A total of 19 graphic-communications companies were honored for marketing excellence in twelve marketing categories, garnering a total of 52 awards.
