Press release from the issuing company
Des Plaines, IL, - Schawk, Inc., a leading provider of brand point management services enabling companies of all sizes to connect their brands with consumers to create deeper brand affinity, announced today that Brandsquare, its online marketing community, is attracting senior-level marketing and creative leaders in 65 countries.
Brandsquare is a private, business-to-business global marketing community built on a social network platform. It unites CEOs, CMOs, brand managers, product development managers, creative directors, global design managers, strategic planners and other leaders in an environment where they can engage with each other and with subject matter experts in "live" video presentations on current marketing-related topics. Past presentations with "live" chat sessions have included topics such as sustainability, the intelligent package and retail marketing.
David Schawk, president and chief executive officer, stated, "As a leader in the brand point management category, Schawk introduced Brandsquare to connect thought leaders within a community that would serve as a catalyst for inspiring discussion and sharing insights around the marketing challenges of our time. We believe that in time, Brandsquare will encourage more marketers to reach out to Schawk and Anthem Worldwide to continue discussion."
Patti Soldavini, director of corporate marketing for Schawk, added, "Brandsquare is succeeding beyond our expectations in its ability to attract senior-level leaders in marketing and creative positions worldwide. We see this as evidence that Schawk is providing a unique opportunity of value to leaders to help them stay abreast of industry news from around the world."
The first "live" session of Brandsquare in 2010 is scheduled for February 25 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The topic, "A New Era in Brand Management Technology," will be presented by Scott Strong, senior vice president and managing director of Schawk Digital Solutions. Sessions are open to all registered Brandsquare members and are free of charge. Membership to Brandsquare is also free of charge.
Additional content on Brandsquare includes hand-selected articles on late-breaking news of interest to members, as well as resources that either enrich comprehension of marketing-related news, such as the ten crucial consumer trends for 2010, or summarize standings, such as global powers of retailing. Industry news is also aggregated from multiple online sources including TheDieLine, Brand Republic, Marketing Week, The Grocer, Ad Age, Springwise and GreenBiz. The mix of sources evolves to keep the member base exposed to different sources over time.
Concluded Soldavini, "Schawk is in its early stages in its adoption of social media as a means to connect with its constituents. We've learned a lot over the past year from our very targeted efforts and are focused on continuing to fine-tune our social media strategy and properties."
