Press release from the issuing company
Houston, TX - Following its 2009 success in Washington, D.C., Consolidated Graphics, Inc. has announced plans to host the second annual emerge conference, a groundbreaking two-day event that will support CGX customers by providing them with the latest print and technology solutions. Joined by industry leaders such as Hewlett-Packard, Kodak, Adobe, XMPie and others in marketing, creative design, printing and procurement, CGX will host educational seminars, a business expo and other networking opportunities during this premier industry event to be held April 21-22, 2010 at San Antonio's Marriott Rivercenter.
This year, emerge will double in size, with attendance anticipated to exceed 750 participants. CGX will provide guests with the tools to make smart, informed, and creative decisions related to printing and technology as a means to better position their businesses in an environment that remains challenging.
We look at emerge not only as a way to share the most innovative, advanced print solutions, but also as a chance to listen to our customers and respond to their needs.
Consolidated Graphics, along with more than 30 core suppliers, industry experts and print innovators will host educational seminars and participate in the business expo, an on-site trade event showcasing the latest industry solutions. Adobe plans to unveil a brand new application as part of its signature suite of services at emerge.
Consolidated Graphics' Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Aaron Grohs said, "Emerge is an opportunity to show our clients that CGX remains at the forefront of the printing industry, and that we are committed to the success of our customers. Over the course of these two days, we'll show how the breadth of products and services offered by Consolidated Graphics can solve the day-to-day business obstacles that our clients are faced with." Guests will receive ideas on how to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and increase revenues.
Breakout sessions will present practical approaches to real-world situations, and include topics such as:
-Personalization and multi-touch marketing as a means to engage your audience
-Utilizing variable video to boost response rates
-Web-to-print solutions that improve processes and virtually eliminate obsolescence and waste
-The fact and fiction of green print techniques and sustainable design
"We look at emerge not only as a way to share the most innovative, advanced print solutions, but also as a chance to listen to our customers and respond to their needs. This is an example of how CGX is always thinking one step ahead, strengthening our world-leading digital platform and pushing the boundaries of what our industry can accomplish," Grohs added.
