Headquartered in Miami, Florida and founded in 1968, Vista Color is a proven leader in  the provision of high quality, specialized commercial print and folding cartons.  With a history beginning in quality color separation capabilities, the company has expanded to become a full service firm which can accommodate complex jobs involving design, preproduction and production for folding cartons and commercial print.

Vista Color was using a software system developed for the commercial print environment, which lacked specific functionality to service the central and growing packaging area of its business.  The organization made the decision to find a new end-to-end software system with rich out-of-the box functionality to support its folding carton operations, while addressing the needs of its commercial print capabilities.  There was a strong requirement to leverage a standard system and to partner with a provider with a good reputation.  After a rigorous due diligence process, Vista Color chose Radius Solutions.  

In the past couple of years, Vista Color has been undergoing significant improvements in equipment and facilities as well as ensuring the right people are in the right places.  "In today's world, our final evolution is to improve the management of our data", said Maria, Hernandez, Director of Quality Systems at Vista Color.  After the first demo of the PECAS Vision software system the company's software evaluation team was able to see the flexibility and ease with which they could access the data they needed to run their business.

Vista Color also anticipates that PECAS Vision will help them further improve customer service by being able to quickly access the very specific information required to address customer inquiries.  They are also looking forward to leveraging the industry specific workflow processes already included in the solution, to help them standardize on best practices.  "We plan to modify our processes around the software, rather than modifying the software around our processes", stated Ms. Hernandez.
