San Francisco, California – Nitro PDF Software, the company that revolutionized the PDF software space with the release of its award-winning Nitro PDF Professional, today announced the appointment of Lonn Lorenz as Director of Product Management. Lorenz joins Nitro from Adobe Systems, where his last role was Senior Product Manager for Scene7.

A globally-recognized authority on PDF, Lorenz brings more than two decades of industry experience, and has served as an expert speaker and panelist at leading industry forums including CeBIT, Seybold, and Macworld.

Heavily involved with PDF since its inception, Lorenz was instrumental at Adobe in the development of Adobe Acrobat -- overseeing all creative, print, and prepress feature development since Version 6, as well as the bifurcation into Professional and Standard editions. During his tenure as Senior Product Manager of Creative Suite Design Premium, Lorenz managed PDF feature integration across all products, and was the driving force behind the incorporation of Acrobat into Adobe's Creative Suite.
