Adam Yuen, New Managing Director for manroland Greater China

Press release from the issuing company

New Managing Director Adam Yuen (37) will continue and further expand manroland's growth rate in the Greater China market region. As of November 2009 he takes over the management of one of the very large parts of the company's Market Organization.

Prior to this appointment Adam Yuen was a Product Manager in the Business Development department responsible for the product lines ROLAND 50, ROLAND 200 and ROLAND 500. He has been with manroland and MAN for 16 years and held positions in business unit management and equity interest controlling among other things. Leo Ziegler-Schaad will be his successor as Product Manager. His predecessor in China, Marco Faulhaber, is now in charge of sheetfed services at the headquarters in Offenbach.

The new management in China, one of the most dynamic markets in the world, underscores the commitment shown by manroland in expanding its sales and service network. Customers all over the world benefit from first-class local support for all that modern offset printing systems need.

As Adam Yuen explains: "We can look back on a long and positive history and it is our intention to continue the success manroland enjoys in China. This is why we offer our customers precisely the products, services and consultancy that they need to be successful in a difficult but growth-oriented competitive environment. We are a professional partner for our customers over the entire life cycle of their printing systems."

China is manroland's biggest export market and here the company is the market leader in commercial and newspaper web offset printing systems and also a major player in the sheetfed press segment. The product portfolio contains an extensive range of services (printservices, printcom, printnet, printadvice).
