SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Nine printing and graphic communications companies will be honored for many years of continuous membership in PINE during the regional trade association's annual Industry Awards Gala set for Thursday, Nov. 12th.
Graphic Arts Finishers, a specialty finishing shop in the Charlestown section of Boston, will be honored for 75 years of continuous membership in New England's largest trade association for printing and graphic communications companies, while Concord Litho, a commercial printing company in Concord, N.H. will be honored for 50 years of continuous membership.
Seven other companies, all based in Massachusetts, also will be recognized for 25 years of membership in PINE. They are Acme Bookbinding, also in the Charlestown section of Boston, Alpha Press in Waltham, Graphic Litho Corporation in Lawrence, Hanna Paper Recycling in Mansfield, The Ink Spot in Quincy, the John P. Pow Company in South Boston, and The Journeyman Press in Newburyport.
"Each of these companies has survived and thrived for many years through the astute leadership of their respective owners," said PINE President Jim Tepper. "It is with deep admiration and respect that we acknowledge the success and longevity of each of these members at the Industry Awards Gala - our signature event of the year where we recognize member and individual achievements in many ways."
A night of recognition
The Industry Awards Gala is the preeminent evening for leaders in New England's $11 billion print marketplace to gather to recognize individual and company achievements over the past year. The Gala will be held Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Framingham Sheraton Hotel in Framingham, Mass.
