PIA affiliates provide members with information to sell in challenging economy

Press release from the issuing company

Atlanta, Ga. – Linda Bishop, President of Thought Transformation, Inc. today trained the first of three groups of California Printing Industries Association, Inc. (PIA) organization members on how to deal with the challenges they face today and in the year ahead.  With training one of the many valuable sources offered by PIA and their affiliates, the Printing Industry Association of Southern California (PIASC), the Printing Industry Association of San Diego (PIASD) and the Printing Industries of Northern California (PINC) partnered to bring sales expert Bishop to California to share her insight and industry knowledge on various marketing and sales topics.

Bishop, a top-performer in printing sales for 17 years, founded Thought Transformation to train and consult companies and sales professionals on how to sell more and reach their full potential.  She talks to marketers regularly, and draws upon first-hand knowledge when presenting and training executives and salespeople nationwide.

"One of the things I enjoy most about running Thought Transformation is the opportunity to discuss selling with printers nationwide," said Bishop.  "My own selling skills have improved as a result, and I'm happy to have the opportunity to share what I've learned with others."

Today's training session, which was attended by members of PIASC, was entitled "How to Talk to Marketing and Get Them To Listen."  The program was specifically designed for key executives and sales representatives who drive their company's sales and marketing efforts.  Nov.  4, members of PINC will also receive training on the same topic, as the associations believe learning about the challenges and problems that all marketers face in today's economy will be beneficial to their members.

Tomorrow, Bishop will be discussing best practices related to cold calling, overcoming objections and selling print profitably when she presents and trains members of PIASD on "Smart Sales Tactics."
