Portland, OR – Pacific Printing & Imaging Association (PPI) announced the winners of the second annual Print ROCKS! Awards at Suncadia Resort October 10th. The awards celebrate printing excellence in the Pacific Northwest (including Alaska and Hawaii) and acknowledge the outstanding work by talented and dedicated individuals within PPI's six state region.
 
B&B Print Source, Tigard, OR, took the top honor with a Best of Show trophy for their Doernbecher Freestyle Invitation, as well as one Best of Division (based on number of employees) award and three Best of Category awards. Other top division winners include: Printery Communications, Port Townsend, WA; PrintGraphics, Portland, OR; and AllpakTrojan, Renton, WA.
 
All winners will be entered into the 2010 Printing Industries of America's international Premier Print Awards competition, the largest, most prestigious print competition in the world.
 
Over 150 entries were assessed by three out of state judges who were very impressed with the outstanding work that was submitted. Jules Van Sant, PPI Executive Director, agrees: "It's true that print ROCKS within our six state region. We are pleased to have received such excellent print submissions from a wide variety of companies. Everyone that participated should be very proud of their achievement and the excellent work done by their employees."
 
The PrintROCKS! Award recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in the region. The competition rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media. A showcase of top winners can be viewed on the PrintROCKS! website.
