LOS ANGELES -- Farmers Insurance will unveil its new, state-of-the-art printing facility in Chino, California on October 14, at the facility located at 13950 Ramona Avenue.
"We are very proud of the new 52,600 square foot facility that will house an additional 75 employees," notes Claudia Dill, CEO and President of Zurich and Farmers North America Shared Services. "It has the latest printing and distribution equipment available today. This facility is a centralized print, storage and distribution center for Farmers. Construction took 10 months at a total project cost of $17.6 million dollars which included a total equipment technology upgrade. Nearly 500,000 per day or 120,000,000 mail pieces per year will be handled at this new Farmers facility."

"The Chino facility was chosen over four other locations," stated Jan Franklin, Farmers Senior Vice President of Business Integration. "We had our print facility in this location and felt the total modernization was what we wanted. We also used local vendors in the construction of this new facility."
