Presstek continues expansion in Asia Pacific Region

Hudson, NH – Presstek, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of digital offset printing solutions, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Duplica Printing Equipment to distribute Presstek DI digital offset presses.  Headquartered in Hong Kong Duplica Printing Equipment, a full-service print solutions provider, will also distribute Presstek DI presses throughout China.

Presstek DI presses offer printers the most profitable solution for meeting the demand for quick turnaround, high quality color printing in runs of 500 to 20,000.  Capable of printing on a broad range of substrates from .0024" to .02" (0.06 mm to 0.5 mm) thick, the DI supports up to 300 lpi (120 l/cm) and FM screening without incurring additional time or expense.  These highly automated DI presses combine the efficiency of an all-digital workflow with the versatility and high quality of offset printing.  The Presstek 52DI, a 52cm landscape format press, has a maximum sheet size of 20.47" x 14.76" (520 x 375 mm) and produces up to 20,000 letter-size pages per hour.  The Presstek 34DI, a 34cm portrait format press, has a maximum sheet size of 13.39" x 18.11" (340 x 460 mm) and produces up to 14,000 letter-size pages an hour.
