With great sadness, I regret to inform you that Phil Burke, our vice president of sales for Latin America, and his eight-year-old daughter, Tara Ann passed away on Sunday following a boating accident near their home in Florida.

Our organization and hundreds of Phil's friends within the industry share an immense sense of grief and sorrow over this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Gelina, their thirteen-year-old daughter Tessa and their family.

Phil worked with Harris, Heidelberg Web Systems and Goss International since 1987. In 2008, he was appointed to oversee sales of all Goss products and services in Latin America and to manage our agency network in the region.

Those of us privileged to have worked with Phil know that his professionalism, expertise, integrity and entrepreneurial energy epitomized the highest ideals of our industry.
