Goss International showcases latest innovations at China Print

At China Print 2009 Goss International and Shanghai Goss Graphic Systems (SGGS), will emphasize a commitment to the Asia Pacific market by showcasing differentiating web offset technologies that can bring new business opportunities and cost savings to publishers and printers in today's evolving media industry.
A Goss Magnum 4 press system with a hybrid semi-commercial MV400 configuration and digital workflow will be on display on the booth. This highly versatile press with heatset, coldset and UV printing capabilities allows printing houses to produce a wide variety of work including newspapers, coated advertising inserts and magazines in high quality. Live demonstrations of the WS-C300 book and newspaper printing press will also take center stage. The press includes enhanced automation features developed specifically for the requirements of the Asian market. Both products are manufactured at the Company's ISO quality certified manufacturing center in Shanghai. Shanghai Goss Graphic Systems is a joint venture company of Goss International and Shanghai Printing and Packaging Machinery.
Goss International will also highlight technologies that provide economical as well as environmental advantages by adding efficiency and reducing waste, ink, paper and energy levels. The new Goss Ecoset dryer is based on industry-leading Ecocool technology, with design enhancements that can reduce energy consumption and emissions by 50 percent or more. The new Goss Triliner press technology enables newspapers to cut paper consumption by 33.3 percent, increase productivity and color positions by 50 percent and deliver a more compact consumer-friendly product. Presentations on the innovative Goss M-600 Folia and FPS presses as well as Automatic Transfer, and Autoplate technologies, pinless folding, DigiRail digital inking and digital workflows will also be available.
The Goss Lifetime Support program will be emphasized on the China Print booth, including press audits, rebuilds and many product upgrades and enhancements to improve the productivity and extend the competitive lifespan of existing systems in the most cost-effective way.

160,000 Visitors from China and abroad are expected to attend China Print Beijing from May 12-16 2009. The show has been the largest quadrennial printing exhibition in China since its establishment in 1984.
