The London Olympics in 2012 will be a distant memory when the contract for the production of Radio Times comes up again for renewal, as Polestar has successfully extended its relationship with BBC Magazines for a further four years.
Polestar has renewed the contract following the publisher’s review of production options. Mal Skelton, Production Director of BBC Magazines, explains. "The investment at Polestar Petty, in particular the Ferag equipment, is absolutely right for Radio Times. We are extremely pleased with the competence of the team and the commitment of the people at the site, who make a valuable contribution. "
James Povey, Marketing Director – Polestar UK Print, says: "The Radio Times relationship between BBC Magazines and Polestar is one that has, quite literally, lasted a lifetime. Mindful of this heritage, we have taken nothing whatsoever for granted at Polestar and worked all the harder with the BBC Magazines team to build stronger bridges for the future. That is why we are all absolutely delighted that BBC Magazines has demonstrated such trust in Polestar Petty by extending our Radio Times contract until 2013. "
