Press release from the issuing company

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. -- Franchise Services, Inc., parent company of the Sir Speedy and PIP Printing and Marketing Services franchise brands recognized several PIP and Sir Speedy salespeople with sales achievement awards at the annual Sales Forum, recently held in Philadelphia. Thirty-four people received a Platinum Level Award and thirty-two received a Gold Level Award.  Each award is based on total sales activity for the 2008 calendar year. The event attracted a record attendance of 120 salespeople from across the country.

“It’s always a pleasure hosting this sales training event and seeing our salespeople in a learning and sharing environment among their peers,” said Mark Johns, Senior Business Development Consultant for Franchise Services. “I congratulate all of our gold and platinum award winners for their hard work and determination to succeed in their sales careers.”

The annual Sales Forum event is open to all salespeople in the PIP, Sir Speedy, Signal Graphics and MultiCopy National Sales Program, as well as franchise owners. The three-day event encompasses general sessions featuring both industry and motivational speakers, breakout sessions with specific tracks and an awards banquet. This year’s speakers were Anne Mulcahy, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Xerox Corporation and Barry Farber, sales trainer, speaker and best-selling author.

A highlight of the 2009 Sales Forum was the presentation of the Don F. Lowe Salesperson of the Year Award. Mr. Lowe is the chief executive officer of Franchise Services and a member of the Sales & Marketing Executives International Academy of Achievement Hall of Fame. The award is given to a salesperson who has demonstrated professionalism in his/her sales career, who supports the National Salesperson Program and participates in sales events, who’s customer service focus brings credit to his/her franchise location and brand, and for his/her contributions to the success of others in the salesperson network.

The recipient of the 2009 Don F. Lowe Award was Sara Mead of Sir Speedy Scottsdale, Arizona.  As expressed by Mark Johns, senior business development consultant for Franchise Services, “In addition to being an eleven-time top performer and a member of the Million Dollar Sales Club, Sara has been a sales leader, trainer, mentor and friend to many. She is most deserving of this award.”
