Lafayette, LA -- Chris Blanchard, an account manager for the two Acadiana Sir Speedys located at 100 E. Vermilion St., Suite 102 in Lafayette and 910 S. Lewis St. in New Iberia, has been recognized as a 2008 Gold Level Top Performer. The Top Performer Award is presented annually to recognize top achievers in the Sir Speedy franchise network. This year, Blanchard was one of only 20 salespeople who received Gold Level status from more than 300 worldwide.

The Gold Level Awards are presented at the annual Sales Forum event, sponsored by Franchise Services, Inc., parent company of Sir Speedy. This year's sales training event was held in Philadelphia and featured guest speakers, Anne Mulcahy, chief executive officer of Xerox Corporation and Barry Farber, sales trainer, speaker and best-selling author.
