Houston, Texas – The Jones Company, one of the nation's top commercial printers and communication resource companies--a division of Nationwide Graphics/Premier Print Organization (NG/PPO)--recently announced that they have earned their Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certification.
Already an industry leader, as well as FSC certified, the Jones Company continues to find ways to exceed industry standards and operations, many of which being environmentally-centric practices and procedures. Jones is also certified to the ISO 9001 National Standard, and has been for over 10 years. This year Jones was recertified to bring their Quality Management System in compliance with the new National Standard – ISO 9001-2008. The FSC and SFI certifications are sound additions to Jones Quality Management System.
"Being conscious about what we can do to add to our green movement is something we take very seriously at the Jones Company," said Todd Rohloff, President. "It's not just equipment, either; and it's not just stopping at FSC certification, or using vegetable oil-based inks. It's our responsibility to think outside the box-to see what everyone else is doing, and go beyond that. To be a true industry leader."
The Jones Company has, in the past, held events such as a Green Seminar, which was opened to all clients and prospects as well as the business community. The seminar was replete with attendees who saw the value in the Jones Company's green initiative. On top of that, recycling programs and newer equipment that emits lower emissions have been implemented at the facility.
With such operations in place, clients and prospects of the Jones Company have the peace of mind that they are provided with marketing and communication materials that are environmentally safe.
The Jones Company also provides complete consultations and customized product manufacturing and end-use solutions to develop recycling and green programs to its customers.
