Awal Press invests in a pair of ROLAND 700 HiPrint presses

In 2008, Awal Press of Bahrain moved to a new location and key capital investments followed to equip the new facility.  A new ROLAND 700 HiPrint 5-color press with coater from manroland was among the machines the company purchased, but the latest acquisition was a ROLAND 700 HiPrint 8-color press to fulfil a need for a long perfector.

Awal Press has catered to Bahrain's printing industry for over 50 years and today is considered among its peers to be one of the leaders in printing technology.  One of the major reasons behind Awal's decision to invest in a ROLAND 700 HiPrint long perfector is the increasing demand for ever shorter-run print jobs with short delivery dates, and even higher demand for printing quality.  With long perfectors, print products can be delivered just-in-time.  Long perfectors often offer more flexibility to meet shorter delivery times and provide a broad portfolio of print products.

The ROLAND 700 HiPrint offers perfect ink distribution through an optimal number of rollers that ensures an even balance between storage capacity and fast reaction.  The modern principle of double-diameter impression cylinders and transferters   ensures gentle sheet travel.  And the AirGlide delivery produces perfectly even stacks thanks to a particularly flat sheet ascent and a long sheet stabilization path.  All this adds up to no streaking or ghosting, pin-sharp halftones, precise and consistent tone value reproduction, excellent register and rich solids.
