Two new Toyo process series inks improve sheetfed print quality

Press release from the issuing company

ADDISON, Ill. - Toyo Ink America, a leading supplier of high-performance printing inks, will introduce two new process series inks at Print '09 that address specific challenges for sheetfed printers.

UV Eco Soy Process Series
Now printers have another option to meet the demand for high-quality ultraviolet energy-cured printing. Toyo Ink's new soy protein-based UV inks bring high bottom-line benefits and low environmental impacts.

UV Eco Soy inks are formulated for superior printability and high mileage on various types of paper substrates. They have excellent adhesion qualities and improved scumming resistance and stay fresh overnight on-press.

UV Eco Soy inks print consistently with every kind of dampening system. Colors exhibit exceptional brightness. The fast curing readily accommodates high-speed printing and enables faster turnarounds.

UV Eco Soy inks help address the environmental issue and the sustainable development of the printing industry. Produced with domestically grown soybeans - a renewable resource - they are very low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making them much friendlier to the environment.

Alliance Process TIA Series
Toyo Ink continually works to bring to market new value-oriented products that can help customers grow their business. A great choice for today's cost-conscious printers, Alliance delivers improved press performance at a high quality-to-price ratio.

Alliance inks are made from low-VOC vegetable oil. They offer wider water windows, eliminating concerns about ink scumming. These inks set quickly on the printed page yet stay fresh when left in the ink fountains overnight. They can be cured using UV energy, and they stand up to lamination.
