PIA announces keynote speakers for the 11th Annual Color Management Conference

Press release from the issuing company

Pittsburgh, PA -- Printing Industries of America is proud to announce two dynamic and impressive keynote presentations for the 11th Annual Color Management Conference - "Delivering the Color for Broadway" by Wayne Sapper and Yehuda Blau-Maur of King Displays Inc. and "Forecasting the Right Colors " by James Martin, CMG, Color Marketing Group.

The presentation "Delivering the Color for Broadway" will share the color story of King Displays - a Manhattan printing company that produces 90 percent of all the signs and displays for the Broadway theater market. Sapper and Blau-Maur will talk about the company's distinctive clienteles and their demanding color needs, unusual requests, and extremely quick turnaround time requirements. They pride themselves on their ability to be consistent with their color across substrates and will admit the road to their success has had some interesting twists and turns.

In "Forecasting the Right Colors", Martin will explain the premise behind the Color Marketing Group of which he is president. It is an international non-profit association which bi-annually meets to identify and forecast the upcoming colors that will be used in consumer goods and manufactured products across all industries. Color Marketing Group's members are highly qualified color designers that work together in the ultimate meeting of the minds to collaborate and then interpret their shared information into salable colors that will ultimately make up the Color Directions for all industries, manufactured products, and services.

This year's conference will also feature a special pre-conference session on color management across different printing processes as well as the annual photography pre-conference session, which this year is open to all photographers from amateur to professional.

For years, the Color Management Conference has provided attendees quality advice on how to select the right technology, and it offers best practices they can take back to the plant. It will be held December 6-8, 2009 at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. For more information on this one-of-a-kind conference, visit www.printing.org/color.
