Press release from the issuing company
November 6, 2008 – Gent, Belgium – Enfocus, an EskoArtwork company, announces the appointment of specialty software distributor Lifeboat Distribution, a subsidiary of Wayside Technology Group, Inc., as a distribution partner serving the U.S. market. Lifeboat will be distributing the entire Enfocus product portfolio. This agreement expands Enfocus' existing distribution channel in the U.S.
"We are delighted to be partnering with a company of the high quality and capability of Lifeboat Distribution," said Saskia Desmet, Director of Enfocus Sales. "The U.S. market represents significant untapped opportunity for Enfocus, and we believe Lifeboat will be a critical enabler in helping us to tap into that opportunity."
Lifeboat will also work with Enfocus to expand the U.S. market for the Enfocus product suite, with new and innovative applications in industries beyond their traditional printing and publishing sectors. Enfocus products include popular printing and publishing applications such as Switch for automation of both routine and complex tasks, PitStop for fully functional PDF editing and preflight, and Instant PDF to simplify the creation of reliable PDF files by designers and content owners.
"The Enfocus suite of products is a terrific addition to our portfolio," said Dan Jamieson, Vice President and General Manager, Lifeboat Distribution. "We believe that our resellers will be particularly interested in the ability of these solutions to simplify and standardize workflow, and to provide increased automation and reliability for their customers in the printing and publishing industries and beyond."
"The addition of Lifeboat is a key element of Enfocus' strategic intent to establish a broad value added reseller network in the U.S.," added Desmet. "This is designed to both deepen our presence in the printing and publishing industry, and to expand the range of industries we serve. Lifeboat is a key partner in achieving both of those objectives."
