Lawrence, KS (August 04, 2008) — Allen Press, Inc. is pleased to congratulate The Wildlife Professional, a national quarterly magazine focused on keeping today’s wildlife professionals informed about critical advances in wildlife science, for winning a Bronze Excel Award from the Society of National Association Publications (SNAP).
The award-winning article, titled “The Graying of the Green Generation,” was contributed by Katherine Unger, a science writer for the magazine. Unger’s article appeared in the Spring 2007 edition of The Wildlife Professional and won in the Magazine (circulation: 10,000 or fewer) Feature Article category.
SNAP, a non-profit professional society serving association publishers, received over 1,000 entries for its publishing contest at the 28th annual Excel Awards Gala in Washington, DC on June 10th.
