May 20, 2008 - NowDocs, the provider of the NowPrint web-to-print platform, announces its formal launch into the European market at DRUPA 2008. NowDocs will be showing its NowPrint platform at the Xerox booth in the “Building Your Digital Business” area. The NowPrint platform supports three unique product offerings, all of which will be available in Europe.

NowPrint ASAP is the self-service, entry level web-to-print offering which includes a full-featured order entry, print production, and administrative interface. NowPrint ASAP is a self-service model from sign up to implementation. NowPrint ASAP is targeted at printers who service a unified customer community (one brand, one SKU-based price list) or a printer who wants to try out web-to-print without a large investment for a particular customer. NowPrint ASAP is offered ONLY as a SaaS model and includes a free 30 day trial for all customers.

NowPrint Classic is the mid-range web-to-print solution which includes unlimited customer accounts (which include branding, customized workflows, unlimited price lists, etc.). This solution is perfect for mid size printers, corporate print facilities, educational establishments, or government offices.

NowPrint Enterprise is the large-scale offering for print providers who typically have 10+ print centers, require deep integration to their business processes, and require a unique SLA (Service Level Agreement) with NowDocs.

NowDocs has been selling the NowPrint platform in the United States since 2002, when NowDocs converted from a global print provider to a pure web-to-print technology provider. The NowPrint application is operationally successful in some of the largest print providers in the U.S. and powers small local print providers through the NowPrint ASAP product offering – all from the same core platform.

A flexible and scalable architecture is the cornerstone of the NowPrint platform; NowDocs brings this scalable solution to the European market and approaches internationalization with the same flexibility and scalability with which we approach our overall product strategy.

Hosting (SaaS) IN EUROPE
In the United States, NowDocs has always provided both an On Premise (customer hosted) and a SaaS/ASP (NowDocs hosted) deployment model. We bring this same flexibility to Europe with a hosting center in the EU which we know is crucial to Europe’s print providers and their customers. Our European hosting facility went online in February 2008 and is ready to host new NowPrint European customers at DRUPA. A facility in Europe will enable better response time than hosting in the U.S. and will provide a more comfortable path to the powerful SaaS (Software as a Service) model in Europe. Because the NowPrint architecture was optimized for an enterprise deployment, NowDocs can add thousands of printers to the platform and surgically scale where needed (e.g. PDF file conversion).

Multiple Cultures (language and currencies) Supported on Single Implementation
NowDocs has done its homework in Europe. Printers' customers cross country boundaries and cultural differences; that’s why we launch NowPrint with the ability to set unique cultural settings for each of your customers. Every NowPrint Classic or Enterprise customer gets a master account and unlimited branded customer accounts.  Each customer account can have a different cultural setting (language, currency). This flexibility follows the overall NowPrint platform strategy – to enable printers to configure a unique order entry platform via configuration settings, as opposed to custom engineering.
