Dallas, Texas, April 28, 2008 Jay Kay Press today announced it is adding personnel and resources to further bolster its entry into digital printing and its support of clients’ multi-channel marketing campaigns.
The company has installed a new HP Indigo Digital Offset Press that gives it the ability to print offset-quality, variable data campaigns in which every document is unique. In addition, Cheralyn Wood has joined Jay Kay as Vice President of Digital Solutions. She has an extensive background in digital and variable data printing, data management and customer loyalty programs at Xerox Corporation and regional printing and visual communications companies.
“Revenue growth and customer retention are top priorities inside every company. Companies are seeking communications partners that consistently deliver quality products and protect brand integrity. Our entry into the variable-data marketplace resulted from collaboration with customers who wanted Jay Kay to provide their digital as well as traditional printing,” said John Barry, President of Jay Kay Press.
Ms. Wood said: "I am excited about helping drive Jay Kay’s entry into cross media marketing. Because of the company’s reputation for award-winning printing and outstanding customer service, it was imperative we choose a digital press that met our high print quality and up-time standards. With its unique digital offset process and patented technologies, the Indigo press was the ideal choice.”
New software solutions will support variable data printing, multi-channel marketing campaigns and dashboard-based results tracking. Enhanced print offerings include spot UV and scratch-off coating.
Jay Kay Press is Dallas’ leading mid-size commercial printer, specializing in multi-color offset and digital printing for corporations, advertising agencies and design firms.
