Press release from the issuing company

CHESTNUT HILL, MASS -- May 20, 2008 -- Print Buyers International, LLC, today announced the keynote speakers for their 3rd Annual Print Buyers Conference in Boston (September 11th ? 12th at The Sheraton Boston Hotel). Industry experts Frank Romano and Dr. Joe Webb will co-keynote during breakfast on day 1 of the Conference (September 11th) from 8:30 till 10 am. Entitled, ?Defining the Present: Dr. No and Dr. Know Are At It Again,? their presentation promises to take the audience on an animated tour of print?s presence ? warts and all ? in today?s society.

Alan Rosenspan to Kickoff Day Two

New to this year?s program is renowned direct marketing guru Alan Rosenspan, who will deliver the breakfast keynote on September 12th, day two of the conference. His presentation, entitled ?Creativity for the Rest of Us,? will demonstrate to the audience how they can tap into the hidden creative capabilities that everyone has, and how to use these capabilities in direct marketing.

Rosenspan is the president of Alan Rosenspan & Associates, a direct marketing creative and consulting firm. He and his teams have won over 100 awards for creativity and results, including 19 DMA Echo Awards. Alan was a direct marketing instructor at Bentley College for 11 years and has also taught classes at Babson University. Margie Dana Quote

PBI President and Founder Margie Dana noted, ?For everyone who loved Frank and Joe?s keynote presentation last year ? and everyone who?s kicking themselves for missing it ? this year?s show offers another chance to be entertained and enlightened by two of the industry?s top thinkers. I dare anyone to listen to them and not come away energized and more equipped to work in today?s printing and print buying roles. There?s no better way to jump start our 2008 Conference.

?I know better than to think that print as a medium is all we need to concern ourselves with. Today?s print buying professionals want information about new media, social networking, and opportunities to increase their value within their organizations. That?s why I asked Alan Rosenspan to deliver the second keynote. I?ve known Alan through NEDMA (New England Direct Marketing Association) for years. He is a DM thought leader, in addition to having won multiple awards in his field. His presentation on creativity will complement the day one presentation perfectly, as he makes us focus on our ?inner? creativity.?

The Frank and Dr. Joe Show

At last year?s conference, these two well-known industry experts co-keynoted at dinner, with dueling PowerPoints and rapid-fire commentary that showcased each speaker?s unique philosophy about the power of print. Their keynote was an attendee favorite, based on feedback. Print buyers should know the current state of print, and this session will deliver. Two of printing's best-respected observers will help the audience understand where printing is today ? and predict where it is going.
