Oce Extends Leadership in US Continuous-Feed Printer Market Share

BOSTON, April 19, 2007 -- Oce, a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, announces that it has expanded its US market share leadership in continuous-feed printers, according to recently released InfoTrends data. Statistics in the new InfoTrends report, "U.S. Production Copying & Printing Placements: 2006," place Oce in the dominant position in the 80+ ppm continuous-feed printer segment, with over 49 percent of the 2006 market share of roll-fed printer placements in the United States. Oce has held the top spot in the continuous-feed segment since 2003, the first year InfoTrends began tracking market share for this category. The InfoTrends report on the continuous-feed printer market includes monochrome, spot color, and process color print engines. Oce also posted a 43 percent increase in spot color printer placements over the InfoTrends published numbers for 2005.
