Watkiss Automation Limited was named Xerox Corporation  2008 Outstanding Finishing Partner of the Year in Delivery Performance for its continued contribution to Xerox, its customers and the printing industry. The award was among 16 Xerox presented to 15 partner firms for superior digital workflow software and finishing solutions.

Through the Xerox Business Partner Programme, Watkiss Automation supplies the Watkiss PowerSquare 200 book maker as a finishing solution for the Xerox Nuvera EA Production Systems and Xerox Nuvera 288 Perfecting Production System.  This solution was first exhibited at Drupa 2008 and now has numerous installations throughout the United States and Europe.

The innovative PowerSquare 200 is a complete book making system that stitches, folds, forms a SquareBack spine and trims the pages to size in one pass.  The maximum book thickness, of 10mm (equivalent to 200 pages 80gsm/22lb bond), is double that of alternative conventional booklet making machines, so it is ideally suited to higher paginations or to thicker stocks.
