Muller Martini Wins Communicator Award in Switzerland

Press release from the issuing company

(October 22, 2008) Company's "Grow with us." branding campaign is distinguished with a Bronze award and recognized as a creative, integrated communications concept
Muller Martini launched its new "Grow with us." marketing campaign to coincide with the introduction of a new generation of machines featuring both a re-engineered design concept and a new color that are consistent throughout all the company's business areas.  The new Muller Martini "Grow with us." branding concept emphasizes the company's many years of technological market leadership while also embodying Muller's commitment to tailoring equipment and workflow solutions specific to customer growth objectives.  The branding campaign was recently recognized with a Bronze Communicator 2008 award by the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW).

The "Grow with us." theme, which made a dramatic debut at the world's largest graphic arts exhibition (drupa in Düsseldorf, Germany), consists of a skillfully orchestrated two-phase communications strategy.  Muller Martini succeeded in the difficult task of keeping secret the preparation work behind "Grow with us." until the start of drupa.  The company then presented its new generation of machines with a "big blue bang" comprised of technologically advanced and ergonomically designed equipment models in a new Laserblue color symbolizing renewal.

Compared to the previous Muller Martini equipment color schemes consisting of green, red and blue, the new Laserblue color represents a visual revolution for the products, explained Professor Norbert Winistörfer from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland. Professor Winistörfer praised the "Grow with us." communications campaign for its perfect coordination in terms of timeliness, content and action.

The "Award Corporate Communications" of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland for integrated communications, which is unique in Switzerland, promotes professional internal and external communication.  On September 11, 2008, two hundred communications professionals from throughout Switzerland and Germany took part in the fourth award ceremony of the "Award Corporate Communications."
