Press release from the issuing company

Ann Arbor, Michigan – May 8, 2008 – Xitron, the prepress industry's leading independent developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors, RIP management software and workflow solutions, today announced an upgrade for its popular Navigator GPS workflow. This upgrade will be demonstrated at drupa, the world's largest printing exhibition to be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, May 29-June 11 in Hall 9, Stand 9D 26-9.

Navigator GPS 8 adds significant enhancements for users including:

- Native support for the XPS 1.0 files
- Native support for PDF 1.7 files
- TotalProof Raster soft proofing plug-in option
- ExpressConnect online job submission and proofing solution connectivity option

Navigator GPS 8 is the incorporates the latest Harlequin core RIP technology from Global Graphics Software along with Xitron's widely adopted Navigator RIP Manager workflow solution. Navigator GPS 8 includes native support for the latest page description language files including XPS v1.0 and PDF 1.7.

TotalProof Raster soft proofing plug-in is offered as an option for Navigator GPS 8 and provides a PDF of the actual raster (RIPped) file. The PDF can be rendered at either 300 or 600 dpi, allowing the PDF to be emailed to customers for viewing and approval. The customer will now be able to view the job exactly as it was RIPped, thus providing a closer verification of the final output.

"Navigator GPS is the flagship solution in the Navigator product line," stated Mark Eisenschenk, Xitron's President and Chief Executive Officer. "The continued enhancements to this product are a part of Xitron's commitment to our users to provide affordable, high quality, commercial quality workflow solutions for commercial printers."

Navigator GPS 8 also provides connectivity to Xitron's new online job submission and proofing solution, ExpressConnect. ExpressConnect enhances the printer's prepress department capabilities by extending its operation from normal business hours to a 24/7 operation with a highly automated web-based system. Jobs are submitted to ExpressConnect through a simple user interface where basic job ticket information is entered by the customer. This information is then submitted along with the job to the printer's CSR or prepress department. In addition to Navigator GPS, ExpressConnect integrates with Xitron's Xenith workflow solutions and most popular workflow solutions on the market today.

Special upgrade programs for existing Navigator GPS workflow and Navigator RIP users are being offered through September 30, 2008.
