WSI Launches Certified Internet Marketing Consultant program

Press release from the issuing company

Mississauga, Canada April, 2008 – WSI has announced the launch of its' "You Can Get There From Here "Certified Internet Marketing Consultant (CIMC) program. CIMC is designed to help business and owners in the print / graphic communications industry achieve the elusive goal of becoming Marketing Service Providers (MSP) through a proven system that WSI has successfully employed in the development of their 1500 offices worldwide. The system utilizes a model that teaches WSI ICs (Internet Consultants) from the ground up. WSI- ICs are trained and given the tools to provide their customers with concise, accurate and timely professional web based business analytics, ROI reporting and strategic marketing plans.

"Businesses throughout the graphic communications community are feeling the pressure of a gloomy economic forecast. Some are responding successfully and embracing the opportunity that change always brings and others are treading water in the hope that some kind of life line will magically appear" says Terry Kozachenko Development Director Graphic Communications at WSI. "It's definitely not magic but with the WSI model and the training that is provided we at WSI feel confident that we have a system (Internet Marketing Lifecycle – patent pending) that can definitely help the graphic communications community make the transition to MSP. "It's not just about customer acquisition and retention, driving traffic, purchases per click on the Web, and revenue per response anymore, although that certainly is to be considered, but more importantly it's about EBITMA," said Mark Dobson Vice President Franchising at WSI "businesses need to partner with companies that allow them to start in this new direction by providing an approachable entry point with an affordable initial investment, early ROI, and incremental recurring revenue from multiple sources.

Aimed at teaching effective internet marketing the WSI model focuses on techniques that target all aspects of the rapidly changing internet marketplace. The model trains ICs in Web Analytics, Social Media, Web Conversion, and E-Commerce solutions while through the WSI market place the technical aspects of web design and development, content management, search optimization and conversion architecture are supplied worry free and cost effectively.

Take the WSI model and the skill-sets, customer base, equipment and experience of the print /graphic communications professional and the potential would seem limitless. "It's just one more piece of the multi-channel marketing campaign model but we like to think that it is an incredibly valuable piece," says Dan Monaghan founder of WSI. Marketing campaigns have been evolving in complexity since the inclusion of e-commerce in the equation. There is an urgent requirement for the print / graphic communications community to transform their business model and leverage their expertise not only to become MSPs but also to maintain relevancy."
